If you have a bucket list of places you plan to visit in the Philippines, more likely than not, you have Boracay Island on your list. Well, it wasn’t on my list but it was on Sheena’s, and I am pretty sure you guys know the drill, ‘What the girlfriend wants, the girlfriend gets (after a few arguments of course as we should not go down without fighting for our manly pride).
Considered as one of the best beaches in the Philippines, Boracay has earned a reputation that has local and foreign tourist flocking the island all year round. There are pros and cons to the reputation they have gained, but I am pretty sure that the local government is doing their best to offset all the cons moving forward.
It’s been more than a year since we have visited the island, and I think it would be tough for us to write about our visit. The island is fast-paced and ever-changing and the best way to experience what it can offer is to personally visit the place.
