Blogging has been part of my life for roughly 4 years and counting . It runs through my veins. As a blogger, one of the major things that you want is to get readers and be recognized.
Last year, when self-nomination was not yet the “in” thing, I became part of the top 10 Best Cebu Blogs of 2009. I was ecstatic to the point of wetting my pants! Then, I decided to start this blog together with Sheena and had the same goal, be recognized as one of the best Travel bloggers (and slowly we are inching our way to that (I assume)).
This year, Best Cebu Blogs 2010 is on its third year and we are glad to have made it to the Top 20. It is not something I am proud of yet though as getting to Top 20 was a Facebook LIKE contest which I honestly hate. Anyway, we continued with the contest to get to Top 20, so Sheena and my sisters had to do all the work in trying to force people to like the blog. We did not want to top the LIKE contest and I just wanted to reach Top 20 and let the judges decide as to who is really deserving.
